Herb the Cat
The Meditative Cat

Many Cats ask me “Herb, what is meditation, how do I do it and why do I do it?” Well, it’s so unbelievably simple. The what is stilling your mind, the how is to still your mind and the why is to develop your intuition. Once you develop your intuition, it will tell you lots of things like not to get into partnership with that Cat because it will turn sour, not to get into a romantic relationship with this Cat because he or she will break your heart, work with this Cat because it will be rewarding and so on. In other words, it will save you a lot of grief because you know intuitively what to do and what not to do. All the answers can come to you before you get into the deal. Now the how. It’s so simple; all you do is just make your mind blank. Simple yes, but not so easy.

The minute you try to make your mind blank, all these thoughts start flooding into your mind like “oh I need to remember to pay the insurance bill” or “`I must remember Cutie Kitty’s birthday.” One thing after another comes in and soon meditation time is over and you have not meditated. That’s why I recommend the patented tried and true world famous Herb The Cat method. First you trick the mind by giving it something to think about. This is called “Guided Meditation”. You listen to someone tell you what to visualize which accomplishes several things. One is that you have something to focus on and as you do, your mind does not wander.

The other is that with your mind busy, your subconscious mind relaxes and opens up giving you access to your intuition. Second you can decide just what you want to put in your subconscious like “there’s always more than enough money” or “I have only monogamous long term loving romantic relationships”. Now your intuition can warn you if this isn’t fact with someone or encourage you if it is. What a concept, what a delight, having a friend right in your brain who knows more than you do and can see through the co-dependency guiding you with perfect understanding!

By now you should have already seen the advantages to a Cat who meditates over a Cat who walks around like “duh”! Which do you want to be? That’s a no-brainer for me and I hope it is for all you Cats out there. So now how do we get started? Just show up at The Inner Space every Sunday at 11:30 for a free talk on manifesting your dreams and get a meditation to expand your intuition and help draw the things you desire to you. I’ll be there, come join us meditating Cats.
